I just upgraded to a x570s master, but I've noticed that sometimes when I'm downloading something with chrome or when I'm downloading through an app (like an installer) randomly the speed will drop to 0b/s and stall there until the download fails.

I was getting constant 300 KB/s download rate until 25%. Then suddenly the download rate went down to 0 B/s. I tried restarting the launcher, signing out and back in. But nothing seems to bring the download rate back up.

The internet is working just fine on all devices.. it is like nothing changed.. but I am having one very irritating problem.. Google Chrome won't download files.. the download starts of normally.. it downloads a few megabytes and then just drops to 0 B/s.. i ended up downloading the file though my smartphone over Wifi soI don't think the new router is the problem or maybe it could be a wired-only issue.. I've disabled all firewalls (both router and Windows), I've reinstalled Google Chrome and I've tried downloading to file to other drives in case the SSD was the problem somehow..

It is happening again.. internet is literally unusable like this.. whenever I try to download a file the download just stops after a few seconds.. "Failed - Network error" .. reconnecting doesn't help anymore.. how do I fix this????

one thing I'd love if someone explained to me.. wtf is actually going on.. how is it possible that a router is preventing me from downloading files through web browsers when using wired connection.. while I can download torrents, browse the internet, download games on steam, play online games, etc. I just cannot understand that...

I am Downloading a file for 3 days in utorrent web, whenever I continued the download again after I restarted my computer, the download speed is changing and that is strong. But upload speed is constant at 0 for some time. And there are no improvements in downloaded percentage too. How to fix this? This is not a big issue for most, but I use 3 hours unlimited package. So, this time cause by the given problem is eating my money.

My son told me to download a game, no mans sky, so for the last 36 hours its been downloading and is now seeding, what does this even mean and can i play the game, i click on lots of things but nothing happens it just keeps seeding, i have NO idea

I have been trying to install the game for almost a week, and after following al the steps and restarting the download several times I keep getting stuck at 0B/s once there is only 266,24 Kb left, and its always at the same point. does someone knoew how to fix this?

I've encountered a very odd issue while trying to download Dragon Age: Inquisition. Namely, Origin correctly downloaded the first 96% perfectly but breaks horribly after that. What happened is that the download speed gradually slowed from about 4 mb to 0 bytes a second and it stays and nothing or next to nothing permanently. If I restart Origin the speed briefly returns to a few megabytes, but then it declines again to 0 B/sec or close to it.

I got the problem too, and some game is fine, some game always stop by 88% and stop downloaded. I tried everything I can , but it is always not working. even I tried all the solutions online have, I just feel like I have been blocked during download process, but I don't know how and why. It looks like not from my computer o.O I just try to download the games which I bought online, why ...

For those who haven't solved this problem yet, go on Origin, go to the top left and look for "application settings", then go to advanced, then turn on safe mode. This always completes my download whenever I have this issue.

Nothing is working on my end. I've tried contacting origin staff with no response. Download speeds will approach my current ceiling; 1mbps, but slow to 0 and not restart for some time. I let it go overnight, and 10 hrs=7%. I had the exact same issue when trying to download the origin installer from your website. I have tried starting Origin in R&D mode, manually setting my IPs and DNS adresses to only look at EA and Google, Flushed my DNS, re-installed origin, restarted the downloads, clean boot, disabled my firewall and put in exceptions for the ports,......and nothing. I'd really like to play. Please help?

Ive seen the progress bar get stuck a few times if its a big download (in windows and linux). Eventually it would finish if I left it alone, even though it appeared to be stalled. You can verify this if you have a network monitor applet, or anything that shows internet traffic.

So this is happening for me on both. I have swapped from the All-In-One to the standalone to see if it corrected it after the last patch but it still did the same thing. Otherwise the download speed has been fine, I get a normal 10MB/s on my connection right up until the last 20% or so where it just seems to stop.

I've tried everything above and it has resolved some issues that I didn't even realize that I had. However, I'm still getting this annoying line, (I know it's variations on a theme at this point):"Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'satellite-tools-6.7-for-rhel-8-x86_64-e4s-source-rpms'"It's frustrating, but I'm still believing in the community. Let's fix this thing!!

himayuresh i have some problem check plzThis system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register.Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux 8 - x86_64 0.0 B/s 0 B 00:12Failed to download metadata for repo 'epel'Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'epel'

I fixed the issue. I had to de-register my development machine with the subscription manager, then re-register, then subscribe the machine again and set the release. I was then able to download packages again using yum without any of the previous issues. So: subscription-manager register --force (de-registers and re-registers in one command) subscription-manager subscribe (I then subscribed and got the following back... Installed Product Current Status: Product Name: Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86_64 Status: Subscribed Then set my release (run the following to check what releases are available and match with yours) subscription-manager release --list (in my case 8.1 is my system look at /etc/redhat-release for version) subscription-manager release --set=8.1 (set my version) Then as a test installed GCC and all was good.Hope this helps someone ;-)

Restarting the Steam client is another quick fix that can help. To do that, pause any downloads and select File > Exit. You might also want to open the Task Manager in Windows and force-quit any stuck Steam processes. Then, re-open Steam and resume the download queue.

Microsoft uses a background service called Connected User Experiences and Telemetry to collect data to improve Windows 10. However, it might adversely impact Steam download speeds on your PC, so try disabling it and check if that helps.
